For event promoters
A turnkey tour block: programme, troupe, technical set-up and publicity. We agree the dates, the venue and who is responsible for what.
A Circus Asia destination
Tajikistan is part of the permanent touring geography of Circus Asia. There are no dates for the country in the current season’s schedule yet — the destination is open to venues, promoters and partners.
Circus Asia in the country
Tajikistan is part of the regular Circus Asia route alongside Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan: the company's programmes have already been shown in Khujand. There are two productions we are ready to bring to the country — the grand show “This Amazing Circus” 0+ and the family show “Charlie and the Sea Lions” 0+, both two hours with an interval.
Both programmes are made for family audiences and organised groups — school, corporate and union. The grand show confidently holds an adult audience too, while “Charlie and the Sea Lions” is closer to families with pre-schoolers: most of the action is wordless, told through acts and music.
This Amazing Circus — grand show 0+
Charlie and the Sea Lions — family show 0+
A family performance is not only what happens in the ring: pram access, safe aisles, the cloakroom, the interval and clear wayfinding to the seats are agreed with the venue in advance. We go through the same list with a new venue at the very start of the conversation — how the hall takes a two-hour programme depends on it.
What’s on
Circus Asia has two touring productions. Both run two hours with an interval and come to the country as a long block of performances rather than a single evening. Cities, dates and tickets live inside the programme's page — each production's schedule is kept separately there.
Aerialists, acrobats, jugglers and large-scale illusion — the flagship programme of Circus Asia.
About “This Amazing Circus”
The warm story of Charlie the clown and his sea artists: water, light, music and plenty of laughter.
About “Charlie and the Sea Lions”Geography
No cities or dates for Tajikistan are listed in the current route, so there is no poster on this page — and we will not invent one. From the company's experience in the country there have been performances in Khujand. As soon as dates appear they will go into the schedule of the relevant programme.
Organising a tour in Tajikistan is possible: the season route is laid out in advance, and a new destination is easier to include at the planning stage. If you represent a venue, a city or a region and would like to host the programme, write to us through the form at the bottom of this page.
Working here
While the country is not yet on the schedule, the conversation with a venue starts earlier than usual — at the route planning stage. We discuss a tour block at a venue, co-organising performances, work with ticketing services and box offices, and sponsorship and advertising formats in the bill.
Circus Asia brings lighting, sound, safety rigging and the get-in, and takes on the logistics of the troupe and the props as well as visa and permit support. From the venue we need the hall, the technical conditions and readiness for a long block of performances rather than a single evening.
Partnership
Below are the areas people most often approach us about. Terms are discussed case by case: we have no ready-made price lists or standard packages.
A turnkey tour block: programme, troupe, technical set-up and publicity. We agree the dates, the venue and who is responsible for what.
Solo acts and complete show teams across every genre of the big circus. Terms, genres and how selection works.
State circuses, palaces of culture and large arenas: hosting a block of performances over several weeks instead of a single evening.
Promotional formats around the tour: ticket sales points, prop and photo zones, joint campaigns for the duration of the block.
If you represent a city or a region and would like to host the programme, tell us about the venue and the audience — we will discuss including it in the season route.
Partnership for the duration of a tour block: presence in the publicity, at the venue and in the programme materials. We build the format around the task.
Media, outdoor advertising and ticketing services: joint promotion of the season’s bill and an exchange of audiences.
Enquiry
Tell us about yourself and about the venue — we will come back with questions about dates, the hall and technical conditions. The country is already filled in from the page you opened; you can change it if you need to.
