Countries we tour

We work with state circuses, palaces of culture and large arenas across Central Asia.

How Circus Asia builds its tour map

The company does not work in one-off visits but along a route for the whole season: a programme arrives for a run of shows and stays at the venue for several weeks. In that time both school groups and families at the weekend get to see it, and the venue does not have to fill the hall for a single night.

Which venues host the programmes

These are state circuses, palaces of culture and large indoor arenas — halls with room for a ring and the height an aerial act needs. The troupe brings its own lighting, sound and circus equipment, so what a venue has to provide is the hall, the technical conditions and a willingness to host a long run of shows.

How the four countries differ

  • Kyrgyzstan — the company's touring office is based here, and programmes travel on across Central Asia from here.
  • Kazakhstan — the country with the most cities and dates on the route.
  • Uzbekistan — programmes run here in long blocks of performances.
  • Tajikistan — a destination open to venues and promoters.

How to find a show in your city

Dates and cities are collected in the schedule inside each programme's page, and the two productions never share a schedule:

Tickets are sold by official ticketing services and venue box offices: Circus Asia does not sell tickets directly and charges no commission. If your city is not in the schedule yet, write to us through the form on the “Cooperation” page — the season's route is put together with venues and promoters.
