For event promoters
A turnkey tour block: programme, troupe, technical set-up and publicity. We agree the dates, the venue and who is responsible for what.
Circus Asia tours
Kazakhstan holds the most dates on the Circus Asia route: the current schedule lists both Karaganda and Astana, for both programmes of the season.
Circus Asia in the country
Kazakhstan is the only country on the route with two cities announced this season. The grand show “This Amazing Circus” opens the season in Karaganda and continues it in Astana; the family programme “Charlie and the Sea Lions” comes to the same cities in the following block. Both productions run two hours with an interval.
Both programmes are rated 0+, so the hall holds just as many families with pre-schoolers as school groups. The grand show “This Amazing Circus” also holds an adult audience: it is put together so that grown-ups are not bored. We schedule school and corporate groups on weekdays so that weekends stay with family audiences.
This Amazing Circus — grand show 0+
Charlie and the Sea Lions — family show 0+
We build a family performance together with the venue: we agree the length of the interval, how the buffet works and clear wayfinding to the seats, and we set evening showtimes so the performance does not end too late for a child. Safety rigging and rehearsal rules are the responsibility of our technical team.
What’s on
Circus Asia has two touring productions. Both run two hours with an interval and come to the country as a long block of performances rather than a single evening. Cities, dates and tickets live inside the programme's page — each production's schedule is kept separately there.
Aerialists, acrobats, jugglers and large-scale illusion — the flagship programme of Circus Asia.
About “This Amazing Circus”
The warm story of Charlie the clown and his sea artists: water, light, music and plenty of laughter.
About “Charlie and the Sea Lions”Geography
The Kazakhstan route lists Karaganda and Astana: in each city the programme runs for several weeks in a row rather than a single evening. See the dates inside the programme's page — schedule of “This Amazing Circus” and schedule of “Charlie and the Sea Lions”.
Other cities in the country we consider while the route is being laid out: if a venue is ready to host a block of performances, it is better to get in touch early — that way the destination is easier to fit into the season plan.
Working here
In Kazakhstan Circus Asia works with state circuses, palaces of culture and large arenas. The areas of partnership are hosting a tour block, co-organising performances, ticketing partnership, and sponsorship and advertising placements in the season’s bill.
Tickets are sold by official services and venue box offices: Circus Asia does not trade in tickets directly and charges no commission. Questions about dates, venues and partnership go through the form at the bottom of this page or the contacts in the site footer.
Partnership
Below are the areas people most often approach us about. Terms are discussed case by case: we have no ready-made price lists or standard packages.
A turnkey tour block: programme, troupe, technical set-up and publicity. We agree the dates, the venue and who is responsible for what.
Solo acts and complete show teams across every genre of the big circus. Terms, genres and how selection works.
State circuses, palaces of culture and large arenas: hosting a block of performances over several weeks instead of a single evening.
Promotional formats around the tour: ticket sales points, prop and photo zones, joint campaigns for the duration of the block.
If you represent a city or a region and would like to host the programme, tell us about the venue and the audience — we will discuss including it in the season route.
Partnership for the duration of a tour block: presence in the publicity, at the venue and in the programme materials. We build the format around the task.
Media, outdoor advertising and ticketing services: joint promotion of the season’s bill and an exchange of audiences.
Enquiry
Tell us about yourself and about the venue — we will come back with questions about dates, the hall and technical conditions. The country is already filled in from the page you opened; you can change it if you need to.
